Moving from Bahrain

There are a number of tasks that need to be completed before you leave the Kingdom. 

• Close all Bahrain bank accounts and pay off credit cards and loans.
• Work with your employer to ensure all paperwork is completed with regard to your employment and visa.
• Give appropriate notice to your landlord on your accommodation and ensure that all outstanding payments are covered. 
• As with your bank accounts, make sure that you have paid all outstanding bills to the Bahrain Electricity and Water Authority and that you have cancelled (and paid in full) for internet services and telephone landlines.
• Sounds like an obvious one, but make sure that you have given yourself plenty of time to either arrange the relocation of your cars and possessions or have put up for sale those items you don’t intend to take with you.
