orientation trips

Before accepting an overseas assignment, we can help arrange an orientation trip to the destination to help in your decision. If the transferee accepts the assignment, GAC can provide a bespoke orientation programme which includes information about the geography, history and culture that will be helpful in transitioning to the new location. In addition, our consultant provides the employer and their transferee with a city information pack which is a valuable resource of information of the destination.

They will be collected from and returned to hotel/apartment/ office in our vehicles, accompanied by our driver and an experienced relocation coordinator. GAC offers a tour of all major business locations, leisure districts and major road networks. If necessary, we can also arrange for a multilingual professional consultant to join you and converse with you in your own language. The tour provides an overview of the residential areas, community and medical facilities, schools, entertainment areas, shopping, places of worship and culture that await their new lives.

We will also explore furniture stores, supermarkets and shopping malls to get an idea of the set-up costs and the cost of living in the country.

Following on from the tour, we will have follow-up email consultation to address any outstanding queries or issues arising from the visit.
